NORTHERN ROUTE PARKS 10 days

01. Arrival Kilimanjaro airport. Meet with your guide. Visit of Arusha, the market, this extremely growing town, coffee plantations, and views over Mt Meru . If you arrive with a morning flight, after check-in, drive to Arusha National park, one of the smallest but very rich National park. Elephants, buffaloes, hippos, different antelopes, baboons & more are visible. ON 3* hotel in Arusha.

02. A 2-3 hrs drive on asphalted road, will bring you to lake Manyara National park, a park with a very nice vegetation at its entrance and then the savannah around lake Manyara. Is the only park where with luck you can spot the famous tree climbing lions. Lot of birds, hippos, and other animals, as elephants, make this park so interesting. ON Serena lodge, with fantastic views from your swimming pool and rooms. Or we might use lake Mayara Wildlife, E Unoto or other very nice lodges. (For those clients requesting a cheaper tour, other hotels can be proposed).

03. Drive to Serengeti, with a stop to Ngorongoro conservation area to admire the spectacular views. Cross then Masai people villages and the Olduvai gorge (an archeological site, where also on 1959 Mary Leakey discover the Australophitecus boisei, 1,8 million old human repert). ON Serena hotels (Mbuzi Mawe tented camp or Seronera lodge) or Sopa lodge or Grumeti tented camp or Wildlife lodge are among our choices for your accommodation. (For cheaper tour, other hotels can be proposed).

04 & 05. Game drive at Serengeti National park. Here a migration of million hartebeest makes the park rich of predators, looking for their passage as a good hunting. Crocodiles at Grumeti river wait the migration. Lions, leopards, chitas and more predators are found. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, Thomson gazelles, impala, hyenas, warthogs and more make this enormous savannah so interesting. Balloon safaris for few hours (we propose with the sunset or sunrise) are organized, if requested, with supplement cost. Bush breakfast or lunch or dinner can be also organized (pls consult us, as we need to organize the balloon safari as the bush meals, on time. Possibly pls inform us during booking). ON lodge or tented camp.

06. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area. Stop to visit one of the Masai people village, with very interesting culture. Lunch box. Check in hotel. Relax with a sunset drink over the fantastic views over Ngorongoro crater. ON Serena or Sopa or Wildlife hotels, with fantastic views from the rim. (For cheaper tour, other hotels proposed).

07. Early morning drive into Ngorongoro crater, for full day game drive. Is habitat of lot of animals, and one of the biggest parks in Tanzania: elephant, lion, black rhino, buffalo, leopard, chita, giraffes, hippos, serval, and more. Lot of birds too. Lunch box. Back hotel late afternoon to relax, dinner and ON (bush lunch can be organized; at supplement cost, if requested during booking or on time).

08. Drive to Tarangire National park, admiring animals and very nice views. ON Tarangire Safari lodge or Sopa or river camp or Elephant tented lodge. (For those clients that request a cheaper tour, other hotels will be proposed).

09. Game drive of this wonderful park, rich of baobab trees, lot of Elephants, lesser kudu, giraffes, water antelopes, leopards and rhinos. Lunch box. ON lodge.

10. Drive to Arusha, and proceed to Moishi. Visit this very nice town under Mr Kilimanjaro. Have lunch. Some shopping. Transfer Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Zanzibar for a fantastic extension to the beach, an African paradise (pls see hereunder our proposal for Zanzibar program) or extend for the unique history & cultures in Ethiopia (see our Ethiopian programs) or fly back home (If next day morning flight, ON Moishi or Arusha).
